The countdown for the most famous and dramatic TV reality show has begun; BiggBoss season 16 (2022) is all set to run from October 1 at 9:30 PM on the Colors TV channel. According to the official premiere launched by Colors, the initial breaking episode will turn heads and have unexpected twists on the most important first day.

Blowing away all the rumors, superstar Salman Khan will be the one hosting the show for the 13th time in a row. There’s an added suspense about Bigg Boss being a part of this year’s circus theme. The twist of Weekend ka Vaar will air on Friday. And instead of virtual interactions, the megastar will meet the contestants one-on-one.

This year bears an exciting theme of 4 bedrooms – ‘Fire Room,’ ‘Black-and-white Room,’ ‘Cards Room,’ and ‘Vintage Room.’ Four difficult hurdles will be waiting for the contestants. Apart from this, the show will also include interactive audience engagement. Promos showing Salman as Mogambo and Gabbar are hitting the buzz wildly this season.

With 14 confirmed contestants this season, many not-so-ideally famous faces will also be included. One such face is Shiv Thakare- the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 (2020) will be seen contesting for the BB House this year. Shiv Thackeray kickstarted his reality TV career through MTV Roadies Rising 2017 and gradually secured a seat on the audition panel of MTV Roadies Revolution Pune 2019. Apart from being the 21st Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in The Times of India 2019 ranking, he is also an entrepreneur of a deodorant brand.

Passions of Shiv Thakare

As an avid devotee of Lord Shiva, Thakaray has done various mundane jobs, including farming, newspaper distribution, and other menial activities, to meet both ends. He used to be a dancer and choreographer before joining Roadies and owns a dance studio as well. His passion lies in acting as he sees himself as a perfect fit for the negative/ villain characters. From owning a Royal Enfield to beginning his own venture, Thakare has come a long way. He has a passionate love for his birthplace Amravati and takes inspiration from the actor Emran Hashmi.
