In 2019, along with winning a bronze medal at the Bulgarian Junior International Championship, she also secured the winning seat for the All India senior ranking tournament and the All India junior ranking tournament. In 2021, she took part in the Austrian Open International Series but lost against Clara Azurmendi of Spain in the quarterfinals.

  • The popular athlete, who is also left-handed, claims to be idolizing Lin Dan from China and Saina Nehwal from India.
  • Bansod’s latest win- Bansod defeated Saina Nehwal in approximately half an hour in the second round of the India Open 2022 badminton Tournament. The scores were 21-17 21-9 in only 34 minutes! Saina had been dealing with several injuries since her knee surgery after the Rio Olympics (2016) and Bansod proved too strong a player for her. She claimed that it was her “dream come true” match but defeating her idol came as a surprise! How would you feel if you excelled at something more than the person you idolize?   • Senior International Debut- Bansod made her senior international debut in 2019 where she won the winning title in the Maldives International Future Series Badminton Tournament.
