A 23-year-old Bajrang dal activist named Harsha was stabbed to death in Shivamogga. Both the ruling party and the opposition party continue to trade blames over the incident.
The tragic incident of murder occurred on 20th February around 9 pm in the Shivamogga district. The death of the 23-year-old from Karnataka has made the situation extremely tense. People have come out to riot against the unjust murder of Harsha. Multiple motorcycles and two autos were set to fire by people making the current situation volatile. However, the police have tried to calm the situation down by imposing section 144 in the Shivamogga district. Furthermore, the school, colleges will remain closed in the district for the next two days.
The Murder of Bajrang Dal Activist
The incident occurred on Saturday night when Bajrang dal activist Harsha was stabbed by a group of men. Reports suggest that the group of men arrived in a four-wheeler car. Furthermore, it has been reported that the group consisted of 4-5 people. According to the latest updates, 3-4 people have been arrested by the police for the murder. Two of the arrested people have been identified as Nadeem and Kashif. In addition, Nadeem has more than 10 police to his name. Furthermore, the arrest of the alleged murderers will add some peace to the situation. Shivamogga district’s Minister-in-charge, KC Narayana Gowda said the audience to not worry about the situation. In addition, the situation is meant to be normalized very soon.
The DIG of Eastern Range, K Thiyagaranjan has informed that personal enmity was the reason behind the murder. Furthermore, the authorities of the police department also believe the same. However, the BJP has blamed the leadership of Congress behind Harsha’s murder. In addition, they have wanted the case to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Whereas, the actual motive behind the murder is yet to be revealed.

MLA of BJP Karnataka has stood with the family and offered them 2 lakh rupees as support. Minister of Karnataka, Narayan Gowda met Harsha’s family after the incident. Whereas, Multiple others took to social media to ask for justice against the murder of the Bajrang dal activist.

Harsha’s family was deeply saddened by the news of his death. They received a phone call regarding the incident on the night of 20th February. Harsha’s sister was aggravated by the news. In addition, she asked if his brother’s fault was that he called himself Harsha Hindu. Furthermore, his mother said that her son sacrificed himself for the country. The family busted out crying in the grief of the loss of their son. Furthermore, the family added that they want strict actions to be taken against the murderers of their son.
