Aditi made her maiden Olympic appearance in Rio Olympics 2016. Her father was her caddie at the Rio Olympics 2016 (while her mother Maheshwari was her caddie in Tokyo 2020 Olympics). Golf had made a comeback into the Olympic program for the first time since 1904. One of the best golfers in the first three rounds, Aditi finished fourth out of 60 women competitors. Aditi Ashok was the first Indian golfer to participate in the Olympics.

Personal Life

AAditi was born on March 29, 1998. Her father is Ashok Gudlamani, and her mother is Maheshwari. She was studying in The Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore, and completed her graduation in 2016. At the age of five, she started playing golf. She was sent to the Karnataka Golf Association Driving Range by her father when she showed interest in the sport.

Aditi Ashok’s Career

Aditi Played Asia Pacific invitation tournament when she was 12. She won her first professional tour when she was 13 years old. In 2015, Aditi won the Ladies British Amateur Stroke Play Championship and turned pro on January 1, 2016.

Aditi Was was one of the first youngest and Indians who won Lalla Aicha Tour School. After winning this achievement, she secured a Ladies European Tour card for the season of 2016.

Aditi was the first LPGA player from India in 2017 and placed eighth in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of The Year standings.

She made 17 cuts in 24 events and finished second in two of the top ten. At the Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic, she recorded a career-best result of T6 and tied her career-low at Walmart NW Arkansas Championship score of 64.
